Short Bio

Wild Horse blends thick blues, soul, and funk into a rock amalgam of original songs that consist of deep grooves and heavy guitar hooks. The band's authentic performances capture the spirit of vintage blues rock and soul, but go a little heavier and a little meaner. Fans of Doyle Bramhall II, Joe Bonamassa, and Gary Clark Jr., as well as rock blues enthusiasts, will all feel at home. Founded originally in 2008, the band started with Psychedelic and and traditional blues influences.

Through time, the band was resurrected in its newest form after a cross country move n 2020, with a sound that is heavier, but doesn't forget the soul, funk, and blues rock roots of the band. Wild Horse has played a variety of venues from dive bars to festivals, fundraiser concerts, blues clubs, and private bookings.

Guitarist and Vocalist, Ryan Barclay, provides the vocals and thunderous guitar. Meanwhile the 1-2 punch of Chris "Hooey" Rourke on Bass, and Dan Rofelty on Drums lay a foundation that moves forward like a freight train.
